As a subscriber, can I transcribe more than 21,600 minutes per month?
Certainly! Speech is Cheap subscribers get the best rate in the industry. Every additional minute costs just $0.000926 (or $0.05556 per hour), which would automatically appear on the monthly invoice.
Are the add-ons included?
The optional add-ons are offered in addition to the core transcription service, so they're billed separately.
Will my minutes roll over?
No, the minutes do not roll over in the monthly subscription tier. In return, you get to take advantage of the lowest prices in the world. We strive to keep our pricing as transparent as possible. If you feel like you need significantly less than 15 days of audio transcriptions every month, you may benefit from the Pay-As-You-Go offering. Depending on your needs, it might make sense to subscribe at a later point.
My content is multilingual. Can I still transcribe it?
Yes! If you don't specify a language, Speech is Cheap will attempt to figure out the language for every audio segment in the file. It will then show you the most likely candidate along with an accuracy score for that language. For example, {"language": "en (99.95%)"}.
What are the supported languages?
Speech is Cheap is designed to understand and transcribe 100 languages out of the box. While English is the most common language, our clients have successfully transcribed spoken audio content in Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russian, and more.
